Why should you spend a weekend in Auberge du Lac Taureau?

I wanted last year to discover a new part in Quebec, so we decided to go to Lac Taureau which is located in the Lanaudières (as we had heard about it a lot on the radio as I was spending my school holidays in Montréal at this time). It took us almost two hours from Montreal to get there, but trust me, it’s really worth it. I wanted some place with charm as I love the chalet type. We opted with Jérôme for Lac Taureau and their condos Lac Taureau because we wanted to feel at home. And this is exactly how we felt. Their condo are huge and we loved their chimney.  The view is right on the lake. And we could even cook something, which is perfect for me. I love cooking even when I’m in holidays! Their inside is so cozy and I loved the high timber. The condo had a bedroom who was upstair with a really nice shower and a open concept bathtube.

You can use their activities if you want to. We just wanted to chill and just to enjoy some walking around the lake (it was so funny because when we left Montreal, we didn’t have any snow and we arrived there, the snow was everywhere (and I was at this time so happy to see it as I was living in Thailand, I’m not sure that I will feel exactly the same right now).

You can decide to do some ski, some snowshoes, some dogsleids, it’s really up to you. They have so many options for you (and if you have kids or not, dogs or not…)

We decided in the morning to have their brunch and it was phenomenal. They had so many choices, and you could even ask for your personalized omelet!

We want to go back there to enjoy it during the Fall but I just started in my new school so we didn’t take a chance to go back. But I’m sure it’s the right place to enjoy the Fall Colors and even if you want to get married, it seems a perfect place too….
