As a photographer, I have apparently the eye to find the best spot to discover new places…or is it my adventurous me?
Since I arrived on Vancouver Island, I had a list of things I wanted to explore, and this place has been on my list.
Where is Top Bridge Regional Park located?
Just put it in your GPS this adress:
175 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC
What can you see?
This rough and ready 5-kilometer trail connects Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park with the Top Bridge Crossing, a magnificent pedestrian-cyclist suspension bridge spanning the Englishman River. At Top Bridge, take a break, take a dip, or sit on the rocks and enjoy the beauty of the famous salmon river.
We didn’t hike from Rathtrevor Beach to Top Bridge as the trail was going for some time near the road, and I prefer to do some hiking surrounded by nature.
This bridge is awe-inspiring, and under this bridge, many bikers come to make strolling down. I thought it was kinda dangerous, but not everyone was doing it..So I did have to wait for a long time to take the perfect pictures without anybody on it!!!
Why should you get there?
To enjoy this bridge and take amazing pictures of it. Take some time near the river to observe it and try to spot some salmons.
