We went to see the Blue temple and the colors were amazing too. I don’t know precisely when they build this, but it must be an entirely new temple (don’t ask how they pay this kind of place, probably the belief in some religion is how they paid for it )
And then we went to the Black House, the Baandam Museum. It is a bizarre brainchild of Thai National Artist Thawan Duchanee and a slightly sinister counterpoint to Wat Rong Khun, Baandam unites several structures, most of which are stained black and ominously descend out with animals pelts and bones. When you see the styles, you understand that the artist had lived in Northern Europe, and we could see some Vikings inspiration.
The centerpiece is a black, hollow, temple-like building holding a long wooden dining table and chairs made from deep antlers, a virtual Satan’s dining room. Other buildings include hit, breast-shaped bedrooms, dark phallus descend patrons, and a bone and fur line chapel.
This place is quite unusual even it’s dark, but the architecture is impressive. And enjoy the fresh air under the trees!!!
