Floating Market in Pattaya

One of the first things I did when I moved to Thailand was visiting the Floating Market in Pattaya. I never saw one before, so I just wanted to experience it before going to Bangkok.
Many people told me that I shouldn’t go there at this was really for the tourists, but in a way, I was! So Anyway, I decided to go there!!!
Established in 2008, Pattaya Floating Market is a riverside attraction in Pattaya displaying and showcasing the beautiful ancient Thai riverside living community and authentic ways of life, including displays of culture and local products from 4 major regions of Thailand on sales.
The place is interesting as you can see some traditional houses, some local food!! I saw the local art, especially some impressive red paintings (with some elephants on it!). I did love to be near the water, and I loved all the boats!

The simple entrance for a foreigner is 200 Bahts (if you want the whole experience with the traditional costume, the zipline, it will cost you 1000 Bahts!)
If you are in Pattaya, you should make a stop but don’t expect the same feeling as in a bigger floating market in Thailand!
