Before moving to Canada (for Jerome) and to Thailand (for me), we decided to drive to Nashville to discover the town. We saw the Capitol, the Parthenon. It is the replica from the Parthenon in Athens. It was built in 1897 for the Centennial Exposition in plater with other buildings (like an Egyptian Pyramid, a gondola, and much more). All the constructions were supposed to last only for six months (but the Parthenon stayed and was renovated in the 1920’with more durable material). Inside the Parthenon, there is this replica of Athena (who is huge and you can see a lot of details ). This exhibition at this time was also there to show the social progress of women and blacks.
Then we walked back to the downtown where this is amazing on Broadway and the 2 nd street, you can hear in each bar concerts, and some of them are good. We finished our day in a prominent bar where they had this concert from Phil Vaught, and just before that, I learned some steps of line dance (very fun…but you have to count and remember what you are doing!!!!), it was a new country music experience!!!!
